‘Teen Mom’ Stars Fire Back At Kim Kardashian

Yesterday I told you about how Kim Kardashian blogged about her concerns about teenage pregnancy and how reality TV shows like ‘Teen Mom’ seemed to be encouraging teenagers to have kids. Well, two of the teenagers on the MTV show ‘Teen Mom’ fired back (of course ).
Here’s what Amber Portwood of ‘Teen Mom’ told E! News:

“There’s actually a study that shows since the original 16 and Pregnant aired, the number of teen pregnancies have gone down,” Portwood exclusively tells E! News.
“Last time I checked, Kim Kardashian had a sex tape floating around on the internet and I’m pretty sure she made a lot of money off of it. She made a sex tape when she was younger and she wants to bash the girls on Teen Mom?
“If you read the articles about the show, they do nothing but talk about how the show reveals how hard it is for all of us. It doesn’t glamorize anything! It shows the heartache we’ve all gone through.
“We may be ‘celebrities’ because our face is out there, but it’s only because we’ve done some bad things. That’s not glamorous.”

Jenelle Evans of ‘Teen Mom 2′ was a little more blunt:

“I want to say, s–t happens,” Jenelle says.

What do you think about Amber and Jenelle’s responses? I haven’t seen either of the ‘Teen Mom’ shows, so I don’t know how teenage motherhood is portrayed.

Michael Douglas was also spotted out walking daughter Carys to school. It’s so nice to see him looking so good and healthy! Douglas just revealed that he is cancer free, and Carys looks to be very happy about that! I wonder how she’s feeling about that hat her dad is wearing though?:-o

Kim Kardashian Speaks Out On Teenage Pregnancy

After reading a story about a Tennessee high school where 90 students were either pregnant or had given birth in the past year, Kim Kardashian felt the need to share her thoughts on her blog.

It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls. The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines, and have been become almost like celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize! When I think back to when I was 16, there is no way I would even have considered having a baby. That thought wouldn’t even have entered my head. Having a baby is one one of the biggest, and most life-changing decisions a person can make and while I’m not saying that no teen is in the position to raise a child, having a baby so young shouldn’t be seen as the trendy thing to do.

Kim advised her readers to “think very carefully” and “talk to your family, friends, teachers, and most of all, be careful.”

JWoww roughed up Sammi on this week's Jersey Shore.

But lest you think she was done throwing down for the week, she had some words for Kim Kardashian as well. Specifically Kim's newer, fuller lips.

The MTV celebrity has no tolerance for stars who won't "man up" to having work done, writing "Funny how stars don't man up to plastic surgery."

"I did. Blaming it on colds, etc. is just hysterical. Get real!"

Amusingly, Heidi Montag, who famously underwent 10 plastic surgeries in one day, re-tweeted this comment. Kim says she's never tried to hide anything.

"I'm the first one to talk about anything that I do," she told Extra. "It really pisses me off that all of these plastic surgery rumors are always linked to me."


"I have the flu," Kim Kardashian explained of her plumper pout. "I'm puffy and swollen, and I have no make-up on. Why would I just do my bottom lip?"

Kim? Upset about rumors involving her? We doubt it. Still, JWoww has a point. Just because Kim's 2sexy2tweet doesn't mean she has to lie about it.

Teases "Provocative" Super Bowl Ad

Due to her affinity for professional athletes, it should come as no surprise that Kim Kardashian would be involved in the most widely-watched sports day of the year:

The giant-breasted red carpet poser will appear in an ad for Skechers ShapeUps at some point during the big game. She teased it as "provocative" this week, telling USA Today of the spot: "I break someone's heart - again."

In other Super Bowl commercial news: Faith Hill will star in an ad for Teleflora, while Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels will both grace the screen as Go Daddy spokeswomen.

At some point on February 6, a football game might even be played.

Kim Kardashian posted on her blog this morning announcing that the new Kardashian Kollection will be available to the masses at Sears’s stores in August.

I’m so excited to announce that our Kardashian Kollection will launch exclusively at Sears in August!!!
We’ve always shopped at Sears, so we thought it was the perfect outlet for the Kardashian Kollection. You guys are going to love it! The collection includes everything from lingerie, clothing, handbags, accessories and shoes and Khloe, Kourt and I each put our own personal style into the pieces so there’s a lot of variety and something for everyone!! You’ll be hearing a lot more from me about the collection this year, so stay tuned!

I think it’s great that they will be making their line available at Sears – but I really don’t think that they’ve always shopped there! I mean you rarely see those girls in anything that isn’t designer, so I have a hard time believing that the girls do much shopping at Sears!

Kredit Kard Katastrophe: Kardashians Sued for $75 Million

The Kardashians have kause for koncern.

Five weeks after they took their debit card off the market because it was associated with dangerously high fees, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney, Khloe and Kris have been sued by The Revenue Resource Group, LLC. For $75 million.

The company claims these sisters breached their contract when they pulled out of the aforementioned deal. It's the biggest pulling out scandal Kim Kardashian has been involved in since November 2007.

Following an announcement by the Attorney General of Connecticut, who said he'd consider an investigation into the MasterCard-approved debit card, the siblings dropped out of their deal.

But Revenue Resource Group says they signed a two-year contract and their public bashing of the product has affected the company's bottom line. RRG is seeking $75 million in damages.

Perhaps this will teach the family a lesson about attaching their name to any product that comes calling. But, somehow, we doubt it will. (THG)

Kim Kardashian was spotted heading into a business meeting at a studio in Culver City. Pretty sure this is about the most casual we have EVER seen this girl dressed. And by casual, of course I mean topped off with an Hermes bag. What? That isn’t how you do casual?

Following the meeting, Kim tweeted,

OMG u guys have no idea what I’m doing today! You are gonna DIE.

And then shortly after wrote,

OMGGGG I’m nervous!!!!!!

I have to admit — I’m curious! What could possibly be more exciting than Mason saying Kim for the first time?!

Anyone have a guess as to this new and mysterious project Kim is working on? Movie? Song? What could it be?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Hook Up for Her First Music Video

Kim Kardashian makes sure she enters the music game with bang. Already securing The-Dream as one of her production crew, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" beauty is now preparing a music video for her upcoming debut single with none other than rap mogul Kanye West.

They did the filming in a closed set on December 28 in Los Angeles with certified music video director Hype Williams sitting behind the lens, according to TMZ.

Kim and Kanye reportedly arrived and left the set separately. She tweeted, "OMG u guys have no idea what I'm doing today! You are gonna DIE!!!!"

She continued giving updates in a series of messages, "Its going down in here!!! Will twitpic soon! I'm turning it ooooonnnn!!!! What should my alter ego name be? What an amazing day!!! I'm finished for today...but we have a few more to go! Can't twitpic just yet but will soon!" The video shoot was apparently not a one-day filming as she posted a few hours later, "Day #2 let's go!"

Rumor that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would make a duet has been swirling on the web since last month after they were spotted visiting each other in several events including the opening of her DASH boutique. Kim once told MTV, "[Kanye's] a musical genius, so I would be honored to work with Kanye. It's all in fun. We're just trying to have a good time." She additionally said, "I am having fun [with] whatever I'm doing right now. I'm having fun."

Working title and release date for the album haven't been revealed. Other people involved in the making of the album, which is rumored to be a pop record, remain under wraps as well. But a source assured fans that "Kim actually has a great singing voice." The insider told Just Jared, "Everyone will be really surprised by it."

Not only has Kanye worked with Kim but he has also bonded with her mother Kris Jenner. Earlier this month, he gave her a first listen to "Watch the Throne", his duet album with Jay-Z. "Listening to NEW JayZ and Kanye West album with @kanyewest!!" Kris shared to her Twitter followers. "Doesn't get any sweeeeeeeter!! He is AMAZING wait till you guys here! Out soon!"

Kim Kardashian Playing Santa, Giving Free Toys for Sick Kids

Socialite Kim Kardashian spread some Christmas cheer to sick kids in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 23, handing out gifts to young hospital patients. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star teamed up with toy supplier HobbyTron to hand out games to youngsters at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Kardashian was also joined by reality star Brittny Gastineau as they met patients and posed for pictures with the kids. In a series of posts on her Twitter.

com page, Kardashian writes, "Heading to the LA Children's Hospital to give out toys! Thank u Hobby Tron for the amazing donation! 500 toys! Wow. Today was a heart warming day!"

Fellow celeb AnnaLynne McCord is also doing charity work during the holiday. She is spending Christmas Day in Cambodia to help raise awareness of sex slavery in the country. The "90210" star jetted to the nation with her sister Angel earlier this week, and informed her Twitter.com followers, "Taking off to Cambodia with Angel McCord and 1 of my BFFs, Melissa H. to spend Christmas with @somalymam and bring Christmas 2 her girls!"

McCord was referring to the Somaly Mam Foundation, which aims to help women who have been previously forced into sex slavery. Taking to her Twitter.com page on Thursday, she writes, "Merry Christmas Eve from Cambodia!"

Kim Kardashian is making a slight detour on her trip to South Africa this week. The reality star is on a quick trip too the country to promote Brutal Fruit cocktails, but she has made last minute arrangements to visit an orphanage, reports Life & Style.

Reportedly, a friend of Kim’s showed her a photo of orphan babies at the Shepherd’s Keep orphange and it has inspired her to consider adoption.

“She couldn’t believe that all these beautiful little babies were orphans. Kim was in shock — she just couldn’t believe that none of them had a mom or a dad to love them and tuck them into bed at night. That picture really changed her mind about adoption.”

After realizing this particular orphanage was too far to visit on her trip, Kim arranged to visit the Door of Hope center instead.
The friend says that this trip just might solidify Kim’s desire to adopt – and soon.

Kim has really come around to the idea that she could raise an orphan as her own child and surround it with the love and family that she grew up with. She’s not afraid to be a single mom anymore. She knows she has the money and the support network to raise a baby. Now she just has to find the child that she can be a mother to.”

What do you think? I’m a little skeptical about this “source”. Kim has made it clear she doesn’t have time to have a steady relationship, why would she suddenly have enough time to raise a baby? She’s so involved in SO many business projects. I’m calling B.S., I can’t help it.

The Kardashians know how to steal attention on holiday season. The family of reality TV shows, has published a set of photos of their Christmas greeting card, playing it over the top with the grand stair and the stunning formal wear.

"Every year the whole family gets together to take pics for our family Christmas card. This year was extra special because we had a new addition to the family... little Mason!" Kim Kardashian wrote on her blog.

"We went super glam this year and each went for our own look. Kourt chose a tailored suit to match Mason and Scott, Khloe went for gorgeous peach ruffles and I chose a floor-length white gown. How stunning do Kendall and Kylie look!? This might be my favorite of all our family Christmas cards!"

The photos were taken by Nick Saglimbeni who also photographed Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner's professional photo shoot debut. Kim revealed that she was wearing "an Emilio Pucci dress and vintage earrings".

Kim appeared on "Rachael Ray" recently and revealed her next year's solution. "I want to try to be single my whole year of being 30. I've never just dated and done whatever I wanted." She added, "I have a hundred different jobs - when do I have time to really focus on someone?"

Wyclef Jean and Kim Kardashian Team Up for Haiti

Wyclef Jean is teaming up with socialite Kim Kardashian to continue raising funds for Haiti and bring some holiday cheer to the victims of the January earthquake by hosting a charity auction. The stars will be joined by music mogul Andre Harrell and fashion designer Donna Karan to present "The Truth", an exhibition and auction of movie images and artworks by Haitian natives and artists inspired by the country.

And they will be supported by a string of celebrities - Forest Whitaker, Spike Lee, David Arquette, Gary Dourdan, Maria Bello and Erykah Badu will all be special guests at the December 16 fundraiser in New York.

Jean will perform at the event, while Kardashian will put her social networking skills to good use by hosting a three-hour Twitter.com party. The auction will raise money to provide Haitians with 'Gifts of Love', containing vital supplies such as shoes and flashlights, over the holiday season.

The packages will also include cholera relief supplies to help stem the current spread of the deadly disease, which is causing further devastation to the nation.

Kim Kardashian attended the Beauty and Essex Grand Opening in New York City yesterday. I guess she has to keep working to keep earning, like all of us. How do you like her dress? It seems rather tame to me, despite the very low-cut, mesh-covered top.


Kourtney, meanwhile, was spotted having dinner with a friend at Marmalade in Los Angeles. It’s good to see that she still makes time to hang out with her friends- especially with the ongoing drama she has with Scott Disick!

I’m sure it was inevitable: since Kim Kardashian had to attend the launch of her new collection of Bissmor watches last night, and news had broken both of her split with Gabriel Aubry and dating NBA player Kris Humphries, it was inevitable that she would have to face questions about her dating life.

Although Kim declined to talk about her split from Gabriel to Us Magazine.com, she did talk about the best part of dating life.


“My favorite part about being single is just that I can focus on work and not feel guilty,” said the star, reportedly the highest-paid reality star of 2010.

And who will she date? Kim told E! News she’d date anyone except:

“But I probably would never date a footballer again!”

Hmmm… I’m not sure other pro athletes are all that different, but who knows?

Sources tell Life & Style about the love connection:

Kim was spotted at a NJ Nets game and then the couple were spotted at Nobu together a few nights ago.

Well, Kim did say she wanted to spend the year just dating around!
