Sue Sylvester – The Female Simon Cowell?!

Well this makes total sense to me! Jane Lynch, who plays the hilarious Sue Sylvester on Glee revealed that none other than Simon Cowell was her inspiration for the character of Sue.

“If ever there was a guy who tells it like it is, then its Simon Cowell. You could definitely look at Sue and say there’s a lot of Simon in her.
“He’s a great inspiration for the character of Sue – there is a lot that I can take from him and put into her.”

I definitely see the similarity between them! Both of them are mean and harsh, yet everyone still seems to love them! Jane spoke to The Sun newspaper and went on to say that;

 ”Simon and Sue say the things people wish they could in their jobs or at their school, but can’t because it’s not the done thing.
“Just like him, she says what she wants because she can – there is nobody there to tell either of them to stop.”

Could you imagine Simon and ‘Sue’ in the same room together!? I think I’d put money on Sue to come out ahead though, what do you think?
